Leica x Swire Hotels Photography Contest Deadlines Nov 6, 2011
Part of the daily multi-tasking adventure, this is one of the creative projects I’ve been working on this year. Photo submissions have been coming through and I’m excited to see more!
Details:Following the initiatives of working with local creative talent, Swire Hotels’ House Collection: The Opposite House, Beijing and The Upper House Hong Kong have collaborated with Leica camera, commissioning four local photographers, two from each of the respective cities to photograph the properties with the themes of “Beijing opposites” and “Hong Kong views from the top”, using a Leica camera of their choice.
The result is a diverse and eclectic mix of new perspectives on the Houses, seen through the lenses of different Leica cameras (film and digital) and the four young photographers who are children of the 80s.
Madi Ju shot with the LEICA MP/ 35mm f2.5 , Hanchao shot with the LEICA M7/35mm f2.5, Mandy Yeung shot with the LEICA M9 /50mm f2.5 and Xue Tan shot with LEICA MP/ 28mm f2.8
We’d love for you to submit your photo under the themes “Beijing Opposites” OR “Hong Kong Views From The Top”.
The competition will run from October 6 – November 6, 2011.
