Way overdue entry. Was a great day out a few weeks back with my best friend D, discovering new places and things. Naturally, I spent more of the day eating than buying as I lack patience to do much shopping. We discovered a really cute shop called Polkadot boutique and I got myself a fortune cookie necklace. The message read “believe in yourself”, got it for its imperfect hand welding of silver and for an extra dose of self esteem—I justified the purchase.
We took a rest at Green Waffle, which does odd sets like chicken drumsticks and waffle. The savory sweet actually works quite well, if you eat them separately of course!
We also discovered a great catering company, Ali Oli that was serving wonderful canapés at the General Store. They’re based out in Sai Kung, for orders above 400HKD delivery is free. If you haven’t pre-ordered for your Christmas parties, it’s worth given them a call, all the festive favourites like roast turkey with the whole works, sweet potato pie and Christmas pudding/Stollen/mulled wine DIY kit all on the order menu!
