I only ever see these fluffy lion/tiger caricatures as pillows that look like little shoes and I still don’t know what it symbolises apart from it being the year of the Tiger this year!
There was a baby in a pram beside me asking his grandma what this was. The old lady asked him the same question back and he says it’s a 小猫米 (little cat). How cute.
