The Chinese have come a long way in haute couture post communism, a modern day era confidence that is a leap from the glamourous 19320s, 30s Shanghai. The exhibition showcases 200 out of over 5, 000 photographs of lanky, beautiful Chinese models and celebrities shot by international big names, the likes of Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi, Solve Sundsbo, Greg Kadel and Stéphane Sednaoui over the span of 5 years since the fashion title launched in China.

hi pahwie! Thanks for comment! ya it was quite interesting, though i found limiting in terms of curation. they didn’t fully use the potential of space. waiting for the Frank Gehry exhibit to open next door in a few weeks.
