Canteen Diary, China, Personal 1 Comment

No one looks at this fellow at lunch, but he cracks me up. Setting the mood for our meals, we tend to look as enthusiastic as Mr M&Ms when we have lunch and sometimes dinner.

Still nursing a bad flu so haven’t had the best of appetites.

辣子鸡without the chillies but spicy nonetheless, side of stir fried beans with eggs and real ham and a white fungus soup for yin yang measure.

Overall satisfaction: 4/10

Braised pork belly a tad too sweet with strong star anais flavours and a hard boiled egg, not a fan of cabbage in vinegar, the Asian version of sauer kraut.

Overall satisfaction: 3/10
