While the food here isn’t the best Portguese in Old Taipa Village, it’s a bit of an institution where the locals come to eat and old time Portuguese hangout. It’s bustling and busy, a charming old school two story space that’s both narrow and cosy and there’s plenty of classic dishes on the menu. Portions are generous and the food good, but not quite worth the queue especially on busy weekends.
The popular duck rice while tasty has disproportionately more rice than meat, salads – hard to go wrong with the Portuguese salad of tomotoes, onions, olives, lettuce and good olive oil!
