A couple of months ago, I took part in a necklace making workshop (580MOP) at Signum conducted by a Hong Kong designer ZOEE. Part of the Go.See.Shop initiative by a team of creative locals – kind of like the Hong Kong version of Shop Walk on a smaller scale.
Here’s the result – mine in red thread and the teacher’s in blue. In case you were wondering the gorgeous table cloth is by Seletti Toilet Paper, Maurizio Cattelan’s design collective which they don’t have in stock for purchase yet!

It’s still slim pickings here in Macau, finding a creative neighbourhood shop you love. They come by so easily in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore where I lived for years and I’m still trying to figure things out here, living in Macau.
One of my other favourite spots Kafka Sweets & Gourmandises Café was decked out in Hong Kong designer Pookie’s illustrations – colourful and quirky madness that makes your side of cake sweeter.
