Strange as it seems, but there’s a Handover gifts museum, a space devoted to showcasing the luxurious gifts from the Chinese after the Portuguese handed Macau back to China as a Special Administrative Region in 1999.
I’m not sure if there’s anywhere else in the world that has an entire beautiful I.M Pei designed museum space devoted with gifts over a handover of rule.
Entry is free and I recommend a visit if you’re in the vicinity. It’s right next to the Macao Arts and Cultural Centre.
