Eating Out: KuoJi Ramen Macau

kuo-ji ramen macau

This is our favourite spot in town for a quick in-and-out satisfying meal in Taipa. The broth thick, rich and delicious – you have options on extra pork slices, bamboo, egg, sea weed and onions as well as how spicy you’d like it.

Our default order is always the signature pork broth based noodles (they don’t let you choose how al dente you want your noodles, it’s one standard and it works.). Menus are only in Chinese and you pencil in the check box what you want. We recommend ordering also the tofu salad with a cream base sesame honey mustard dressing drizzled over it, complete with green lettuce, okra and dehydrated crispy lotus root. Pass on the gyoza, they are greasy and not so good.

A meal for two with salad and drinks works out to about 200MOP, not too bad and it never disappoints.

There are two branches, the one on Macau side is on the street perpendicular to Rua de Felicidades (here they have fried chicken drumlets – don’t forget to order it!) And the Taipa branch is on the same street as cuppa coffee, beside the Portuguese restuarant O’Manel.
