Brittany Port Art: Sea Creatures by Clementine Guivarc’h

Despite the cold and dreary weather in Brittany, we trudged out to Port Guilvinec to watch the ships come in with their daily catch and met the fishermen who sorted the fish before it gets organised for export – making it out here in Asia to the Michelin starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau. The crowds all line up by the pier to watch the boats coming in.

What brought smiles to my wet day were these crazy cute street art of sea creatures by French artist Clementine Guivarc’h, was abit of a hide and seek trying to find all of them and I am bummed I didn’t get to see all of them. (you’ll notice my profile pic is with captain Walrus).

This cute little town is also holding a photography exhibition – stunning photos of fishermen at sea, don’t miss it if you’re in Brittany, pop by the little town for the seafood and the exhibition!

Apart from the art, admire the colourful buildings and typical architecture style of the region and keep a look out for lighthouse stencilled floor art. :)
