WL and I never got to catch up in Paris despite so many (half hearted) attempts to do so because trips back to France are always harried for me.
Well, the hipster Seng’s Noodle Bar turned out to be a nice surprise. We were pleasantly surprised by the price and quality. Free flowing soup top up and endless supply of crispy fried pork lard garnish for your noodles – what’s not to love? The menu is simple and unpretentious, easy to navigate and they do Ubereats delivery as well too!
I went with the char siu mee ($7) and WL chose the threesome ($9) which was all of their signatures – mushrooms, pork belly and wantons all in. I’d try the shiitake mushrooms one next time, that looked pretty good. Noodles cooked a lovely al dente, ingredients and dressing generous, well seasoned served in a ramen sized bowl.
Lunch sets include a drink so it worked out to something like $14 each. We sat at the bar and it does have a Izakaya sort of vibe.
