Eating out Singapore: Candlenut Singapore
These photos are at least a year old and I’ve been meaning to write about it for a while and it’s coming to mind more often since I’ve been planning my next trip home to Singapore!
I’ve been back a couple of times since at the new location at Dempsey since Candlenut got acquired by the Como group. Still my favourite spot for contemporary Peranakan food. Chef Malcolm does a great job with giving local flavours a modern take.
There’s always new dishes on the menu and I think the Buah Keluak fried rice has stayed for a while.
Sambal petai beans… my favourite.
