Event: Foodie Summit Sep 21-22 at Hotel Icon

2018-foodsfuturesummit-banner-1600x1200-2I’m really looking forward to this year’s event this Sep 21-22 as I missed last year’s Food Summit while I was back in Singapore. I was also in Stockholm earlier this year in February for the Stockholm Design Week and sussing out their sophisticated recycling/composting system and culture.

The two day line up organised by Foodie magazine covers all that and more, looking into the latest trends and innovations to make better, more conscious choices in consumption. From plant based diets to circular economies, the moment in Hong Kong has been picking up over the years with Live Zero, Green Monday David and Peggy Chan of Grass Roots Pantry fronting the movement. Tatler Hong Kong most recently also ran a Green Issue of the movers and shakers in the local scene and not forgetting my friend Tanja heading up All in Asia.

“With a goal to inspire and initiate change within the world of food; to recognise future-forward
businesses; champion individuals behind critical causes; and empower consumers to make
better-informed decisions about what they eat, The Food’s Future Summit asks the questions and
seeks the answers to what the future of dining holds.”
