We can’t wait for the launch of White Lotus season 3 next week! Set in the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui , I got a tour of the shoot locations on property and also really enjoyed a Muay Thai class as a family last November.
We love Thailand – hospitable and welcoming locals, beautiful beaches, delicious food and I find the country very kid-friendly.
We made a spontaneous 4 days, 3 nights trip for our first family holidays as three and it was exactly what we needed – a slow-paced couple of days by the private residence villa pool and beach. They also have a kids club with plenty of activities from treasure hunts to arts and crafts like painting and making bracelets. My son however did not want to be away from me and rejected all the activities, even though in normal circumstances, they are activities he would have loved!
There’s so much to do apart from lounging in a hammock on a private beach, or going kayaking and standup paddle boarding while you deposit the kids at the treehouse playroom.
We arrived at the beginning of the low season with bouts of rain – lower room rates and more availability! It rained most nights and the day we left it was pouring all morning when we left for the airport.
We had all our dinners over room service and went to bed early, delicious Thai food and really ornate and elaborate turndown amenities each night!
