I have fallen behind a photo a day, but ever grateful for the opportunities to keep discovering and keep travelling. Given my shoulder chronic pain, I have also not been lugging my DSLR out everyday. Actually somedays, I don’t leave the house. That needs to change and I have to get back into some semblance […]

What a typical day looks like. Sunny, cool mornings on the terrace. Still working on taking good photos in low light in manual mode. Morning pancakes Amaryllis I brought back from Amsterdam’s flowers market, slowly starting to grow. Someday, hopefully this birds of paradise plant is going to flower. Fish flops :)

Fallen quite far behind the weekly updates. A little disappointed about my photos as they don’t seem to be getting better. I didn’t realise the right side of the frame in a way gave the picture more”depth”? Love the yellow crocks. :) Spot the dog in the […]

I think daily posts are tedious, so I’m rounding up weekly posts. :) I don’t know if I am improving at this, but I think as with every new skill, it’s a work in progress. I am getting the hang of shutter speed and aperture, hopefully it’d get easier and become more of an autopilot […]

Part of the photography class I took, learning how to work with manual settings to take good photos in the night. Still getting the hang of the holy trinity of ISO, Aperture and shutter speeds.

It’s actually harder than I thought to be disciplined enough to take a photo a day with my DSLR as I don’t religiously carry it out with me every single day. Here’s a photo from my terrace.
