    Nice effort :-)

You have some time yet to hone your skills as there is another big pancake day (Shrove Tuesday) which is on 16th Feb this year.

Traditionally a time to use up all the fat in the house before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday).

English pancakes are virtually the same as crepes and we stuff them with both sweet and savoury. Sugar and lemon being traditional fillings.

hey thanks duncan!!! I haven’t gotten round to editing our joint entry at Barolo’s!

I love sweet and savory crepes, I had loads of those in Vietnam, weird combinations like pork floss, mayo and sweet corn etc.

I need to find English friends to make pancakes with! For the records, I did okay with the crepe, although abit of it tore from vigorous tossing. :)

Anxiously anticipating the Barolo post :-)

You do have at least one English friend…and you are welcome to join us on the day…if you can stand the chaos!

    Enjoy your trip! Sounds fab.

The kids love to help dad cook…especially stuff made with flour! Hence the chaos :-)
