Maison de L’Aubrac is a 24 hour steak house in Paris and they are open 7 days a week and one of chef’s regular hangouts in the early 2000s – given that there aren’t many other options for chefs to go after dinner service. I was told there used to be a really trendy club across the road as well but no longer exist.
The place is something you’d expect, good cuts done well without the fancy dress. The interiors are a barn-like pub, with the ambience of a hunter’s dude hangout place.
The food apparently isn’t as good as years before, and I order a chicken and it served its purpose for a Paris midnight meal.
So if you’re hungry and roaming the streets for food – here’s an option for you.
I think our late night dinner set us back about 50-60€ which by Parisian standards isn’t bad at all!
