This gorgeous terrace café Terrasse des epices sits above the Medina on one end feels like a lovely secret in Marrakech – but check into Foursquare and you realise it’s no secret, T+L, Conde Nast have all left their trails and left lovely tips. Our friends who lived in Marrakech come here often and the food is worth all the calories and a second helping too! Service is warm and lovely which makes you want to spend the day there.
I got hooked on Brouate “brick pastry” – mine always stuffed with cheese and Meshwi – lamb grilled with so much love, skill and flavours, you could eat that for lunch and dinner. Repeat.
The views are stunning, dining over blue skies, fresh air and sunshine with a side of mint tea and Moroccan breads and olive oil. Life couldn’t get more beautiful on a vacation like this.
