We’ve had many lovely meals at the Restaurant and the husband stocks up on his wine collection at “Le Nez” the wine shop just behind the restaurant. We always pop in here for lunch when we’re visiting family in the south in Carpentras.
We’ve dined more casually al fresco in the Summer, but it seems the chef has dialled things up a notch and it’s moved in the fine dining direction. I won’t be surprise if they do get a Michelin star. It’s a cosy beautiful restaurant in a rustic village surrounded by vineyards.
The area is beautiful, the food delish and don’t leave before checking out Le Nez where you can buy some great Rhone Valley wines at fair prices.
Gigondas and the wine the region produces
ooops, blurry exterior of the Restaurant. A tipple or two too many. Guilty.
I didn’t realise they are also a hotel, so that’s perfect for a Rhone wine trip as you eat and drink your way in the region, exploring the cute towns on the way.
