My story for SCMP as the Singapore government takes steps in their measures to manage health and wellness during the pandemic, from tele-health consultations to non-contact pharmacies and medicine deliveries.
Singapore has stepped up its technology advancements in the past decade and continues to move in the direction of a SMART city. I marvel at the way the government confidently and empathetically handled the Covid pandemic situation, in contrast to how the Hong Kong government and its wishy washy policies only instilled fear and paranoia in us. We were most afraid of being separated from our newborn babies at birth or sent to Penny Bay and separated while nursing a newborn if tested positive for Covid.
