Hong Kong Eats Part III
I love the smell of the good old confectionary. They have plenty of those in Singapore in the shophouses in Chinatown or Katong. These flour and egg fluffy buns remind me of my childhood and my late grandmother who used to give it to us as snacks all the time
Tripe and kidney and innards that I had a bite of. It actually tasted pretty good with mustard and ketchup.
Another top favourite, crispy pastry filled with shredded steamed radish.
And finally, the large purpose of my visit: This little person is my nephew! The friendliest, most good natured little boy, who is huge for a 3 going on 4 month old baby. He’s heavier than my fat cat!

Look at those cheeks!!! I can pinch, bite, and kiss until he cries. Basically, don’t let me near him.

And my plans of visiting Hongkong this year will have to wait again. Boo! =(
