Macau Cultural Heritage Protection

One of the things I enjoy about Macau is despite the glitzy madness of casinos lighting up the city at all hours, these are mostly built on reclaimed land and a large part of the old city is left and preserved as it is. I wish Singapore had moved in the same direction, instead of all the gentrification and pulling down of old buildings to make way for more modern skyscrapers.

How lovely to celebrate a new law to enforce the preservation of cultural heritage, an a little event to celebrate it. It’s on tomorrow, albeit at office hours 4pm on a Thursday. I wish I could attend.

Here’s more info on this lovely designed flyer.
