Carpentras is a really small provincial town that reminds me of my time living in Treviso, there isn’t much to do there, except for the annual truffle market, a few bars you can count on your hand and Chez Serge the gourmet hotspot that foodies in the Avignon area drive all the way here for to have dinner.
These gorgeous soft toy animal heads range from 63€ to 82€ and what a great wall art piece!
Giant fluffiest meringues also called Les Rocailles.
Café Jouvaud is a cute designer concept store café with the classic French patisserie you’d expect to find. Everything here is deliciously amazing – especially the cake I hear and the candied fruit (over 50€ per basket).
All plates and cups are of the Pantone series also on sale at the cafe.
In the winter months where it’s truffle season and the truffle market in full force, you also get galettes “king cake” with truffles – if you feel like indulging. I’d have a frangipane one in any case!
