I can’t recommend the Four Seasons hotel Bangkok enough as a family friendly hotel – it’s excellent for families with young children!
I am biased as I used to work for the group’s global corporate office and husband is consulting at the eponymous brasserie Le Palmier. The hotel is beautiful, the spa first class and there’s a beautifully designed playroom for the kids with staff on site to help with childcare if your child is secure enough to separate for you.
Here are my favourite parts:
- Expansive swimming pool with views of the Chao Praya river
- Amazing kid’s club and playroom with activities like feeding the fish!
3. The Spa
Lives up to its Four Seasons Hotel reputation. I’ve only been twice and it was wonderful.
4. Kid-friendly dining : Le Palmier has a kids menu, the poolside menu is easy and a favourite as well as the Italian Riva Del Fiume. Recommend sitting al fresco at the Italian and watch the sunset – very White Lotus vibes.
5. Right on the Chao Phraya River
Bangkok is notorious for its traffic jams, being located here (neighbour of Capella hotel which has been listed as the #1 hotel on the World’s 50 best list 2024) allows you to take the hotel’s boat to get off at landmark stops along the river. Enjoy a scenic cruise in Bangkok and avoid being caught in traffic! Not to mention the stunning riverside views if you get a room overlooking the Chao Phraya.
