Le Petite Maison LPM Hong Kong

La Petit Maison, often referred to as LPM, boasts an impressive reputation with successful establishments spanning across the globe, including major cities like Dubai, London, and Miami. Each location is celebrated for its unique take on French Mediterranean cuisine, and Hong Kong is no exception.

We frequent LPM often, as a couple and family with our 4 year old. They’ve recently launched a new brunch menu which distills the best of the season and some favourites, however, we are creatures of habit and tend to stick to our favourite dishes from the à la carte menu.

Our go-to dishes at LPM include the classics of buttery escargots, served with delectable garlic and parsley butter– save some bread to mop up the goodness. The ceviche is fresh and zesty, a perfect start to the meal. The burrata salad served with cherry tomatoes is always a good idea as an appetizer.

The brasserie classic of beef tartare is well-seasoned and doesn’t disappoint. We always order the same mains; the coquelet chicken is lean and tasty while I also like ordering a particular the duck and lamb chops.

To accompany our meals, we always order a side of French beans and the indulgent potato gratin—a wonderfully rich dish well worth the calories.

LPM Hong Kong has a winning formula that draws us back. The service is friendly and attentive, its clientele well-heeled, adding to the restaurant’s vibrant energy. The ambience strikes a perfect balance between cosy and sophisticated, and the wine list caters to a variety of tastes, and offer them by carafes if you don’t want to commit to a full bottle.

Additionally, LPM’s cocktail menu is fantastic, featuring creative concoctions that are both refreshing and delightful. They have also embraced a child-friendly approach, making it easier for families to dine out without compromising on quality.

LPM Hong Kong doesn’t boast any awards and not on any gastronomic list, but they deliver good food and service, and confidently so as their price point ranks with Michelin starred restaurants in Hong Kong.
