Eating out: Morton’s Steakhouse Macau

A belated post and here is a combination from a press invitation to Morton’s and our own trip back to Morton’s a week apart. Can’t get enough of this generous heap of raw spinach salad. So good! I know, who would have thought – great salads in a steakhouse!

So we got the full presentation of the cuts and got served a 14oz filet mignon part of their Prime Selection. The time limited only special menu included seared sea scallops, Nueske bacon and a mashed cauliflower (didn’t taste nor smell much of the black truffles – but then again I am awfully spoilt as THIS is what we’re usually used to). MJ our server for the evening who knew her product inside out – there wasn’t a question she didn’t have an answer for. Props to her.

but instead of filling up on huge mains, I also actually really like the steak tacos under the appetiser section of the menu. Too much raw onions, so a good idea to go without lest you smell like walking onion breath!

Part of the time limited promotion is also the white chocolate pudding – perfect for some winter indulgence. The chocolate soufflé which is a mainstay on the dessert menu takes 20-30mins is also worth the order.
