I ate at Carmen about 2 months ago and was sorely disappointed. I still wonder if I ordered wrong or was it just a bad day? A handful of my friends have been raving about how great the food is, but we have rather different preferences..

I should try it again sometime soon because I really like the ambience. My Singaporean foodie friend came to visit and we ordered everything that excited us on the menu, only to leave sorely disappointed.

Having a bad soup feels like a mouse trapped in mousetrap only to find out there was no cheese.

And the paella… sigh was a beautiful Chinese seafood fried rice masquerading as paella.
