Another #let’slunch post! A tomato peach salad that taste of summer, from all the fresh produce at the farmers market.
Here’s chef’s recipe on a tomato white peach salad. We went to plenty of farmer’s markets in France and Spain and the amazing products are so painfully good, I wish we had more of these practices in Asia.
Here’s Jardin Deschamps, crops tended to lovingly by Jacky.
These are fresh tomatoes and peaches from the garden.
The recipe is simple:
4- tomatoes sliced into quarters
1 shallot diced
olive oil
balsamico
sea salt, pepper
basil leaves – garnish as much as you like
2 white peaches diced into cubes
Mix it altogether and violà! Don’t have an image of this salad but here’s a slideshow of wonderful fresh produce in markets and farms in Hong Kong, St Tropez, Tours and the touristy Boqueria market in Barcelona with what looks like amazing products!
