Autumn’s almost here and it’s been some crazy days and weeks in a blur as I catch up on archived draft posts.
Table At El Celler Di Can Roca in GIrona
One of our highlights this summer was going to Girona to dine at the world’s No. 2 restauarant after Noma. A stunning space, excellent service and a wine list with unbelievably reasonable prices. Our 22-course menu involved the whole theatre of dining, but I’m not sure if I would rank it as my top 2 dining experience for food.
Dessert comes in beautiful trollies generously decorated with colourful gems and what really stood out was the fake apricot dessert – the seed made entirely of ice cream and all the little balls encased and following out of a candy shell vanilla ice cream. Wonderful.
I’m a little late with this post and my after thoughts, so I’m sharing a slideshow instead, our 22 course meal at El Celler di Can Roca, and a visit into their amazing kitchen full of fancy lab equipment!
