I’m loving the new Christmas decor at MGM, Macau. Simple but effective, giant silver globes with reflective silver and red spiral things above a tiny Christmas market, featuring baked goods from gingerbreads to Christmas cakes and a station just selling roasted chestnuts.
You get a perfect view of the indoor piazza from Aux Beaux Arts, great place to people watch – and where we usually go for late Sunday brunches (last order at 230pm). Consistent, great brasserie food. They also have Sunday buffet lunches.
Eggs benedict with truffles.
Ricotta spinach ravioli with pumpkin, hazel nuts and caviar with subtle spice of ginger. Yum
Chicken breast with foie gras with a side of mash. Faultless.
And finally a beautiful fresh pineapple consomé dessert with caramelised crisp layers.
I hear the décor looks even more magical by night, so definitely worth a dinner stop if you’re looking for dining options in Macau. Pardon the quality of images, I left the camera at home, so photos taken on the antique 3GS.
Brunch for two with drinks 1000+MOP.
