Eating out: Japas Macau
The menu is tight with fusion-like Japanese inspired dishes. Only set menus are available, featuring a fusion of Japanese staples and Spanish tapas with well balanced dishes like steam egg and sea urchin, unagi foie gras and seaweed rice to the yuzu tart served with lemon grass ice cream.
I went during their soft opening so there were hit and misses, but have to say it’s one of the few independent high level restaurant spots in Macau. Their set menus are always changing based on the freshest seasonal produce available. Nice addition to the Macau dining landscape outside of casino hotels.
