Stay: The Warehouse Hotel Singapore + Po Restaurant
My friend V was in town for work and chose to stay at the newly open Warehouse Hotel – great space and vibe, despite the (lack of) service. Loved the personalised local food items for the mini bar.
We met up for breakfast over a rich and tasty bowl of Bak Kut teh, thicker soup and much classier version – eating it with fork and knife! Served with fresh crispy dough sticks youtiao. Hotel kind of pricey for this typical local meal at $20++, but I have to say it was really well executed.
The bar snacks, kueh pie tee, kale chips etc are alright, pity about no service at the bar, and Po only opens for breakfast and dinner (6pm). We didn’t hear great things about dinner and passed on their popiah, but maybe another time, when they get through their teething problems.
