Robuchon Au Dome is Macau’s only three Michelin-starred restaurant and having maintained its position in its 5th year running since the Michelin Guide launched its Hong Kong & Macau edition five years ago. It’s one of our favourite dining spots in Macau. We loved it at Hotel Lisboa and we love it all the same at the Dome. Food and service is consistently excellent, and the wine list (so large, extensive and comprehensive it comes on an ipad) an oenophiles’ dream.
Amuse bouche cherry gazpacho with a delicious dollop of ricotta and pistachio for a little bit of crunch.
The best mussels I’ve had, the chef has taken all the best flavours of sea, accelerated it to serve. This is a real treat, and party in the mouth.
Salmon and a delish poulard de Brest stuffed with foie gras.
The cheese and dessert trolley lives up to their legendary reputation. The food here is consistently excellent, perfectly executed and typically Robuchon regardless where in the world. What we missed about the old location is the bread trolley where you get to pick your own breads and salted/unsalted butter are served the old fashioned way. And oh, I really miss the caramel tarts, they don’t do them anymore, but thankfully the mille-feuille Napoleon is still a mainstay on the dessert trolley.
We usually choose either the mid or large set menu and our bill for two usually comes up to 2500+MOP.
Our wine pairings over brunch.
Sunday brunches/ weekly lunch sets are fantastic value if you want an amazing dining experience without breaking the bank.
